A Little About Jean and Her Art:
When I was 10, I walked through the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, and pointing at a famous painting, I told my mom, “I’m going to do that.” it took me a while, with detours through business, accounting, management and motherhood! When I finally picked up a paintbrush again, I told Spirit, "Show my unique voice in painting, or I'm not doing it!" and it did.
I followed my paintbrush that day, and still do. I love being delighted at the colorful, energetic and meaningful paintings that are produced under the tutelage of my higher self 'muse'.
All the original paintings have been painted intuitively. I do not plan any painting in advance and let the painting tell me what it wants. Once I paint the base colors, I stand back and let the canvas show me what to paint next. This creates energetic vortexes that open unique portals for the viewer. It's an electrifying and exhilarating process! After a painting is complete, I do automatic writing (a spiritual practice) to discern the story and spiritual practices that are being given with the painting.
Custom Paintings + Energy
I also do Custom 'fur baby' paintings capturing the energy, personality and love of your pet. Capturing the essense and legacy of your pet in a colorful, one-of-a-kind oil painting. You send me several pictures of your pet, along with the colors you love (or I will choose your colors energetically) and in 6-8 weeks you will have your painting.
